shidinn does discard tones in chinese. though, to distinguish something like xɛx, xxɛ and xɛxɛ, the main syllables are stressed. Zephyr（留言） 2024年12月25日 (三) 16:12 (CST)

Some words in Shidinn have only one syllable each. Examples include 火/木/光.
Most of the Shidinn words are two-syllable "iamb" words, such as 鈥/沐/胱.
A few of the words are trochaic, such as 愛.
Some words are anapest due to having two radicals, such as 照.
"Dactyl" words are much rarer, and most of them are variants of existing words ending in the nasal sibilant, such as 弩 and 匐.
Note that 器 is anapest, not spondee.
